In the winter of 2009, I replaced the C150 transmission in my 97 Paseo with a C151 from a 1999 Canadian Tercel. I use the Paseo for commuting and my objective was to reduce highway RPMs. I had to reuse the shift shaft from my old transmission because the extrernal lever was shaped differently on the newer one. Other than that, there were no interchange issues. Fuel economy increased from 38 MPG with the C150 to 42 MPG with the C151.
