After hearing about the recall for frame rust, I dropped the spare on my 2003 Tundra and had a look.

This is the driver's side of the rear cross member. You can see the brake proportioning valve in front of the cross-member.

This is the passenger side of the cross-member. There's a little more surface rust on the frame rail on this side.
This is a close-up of some of the worst rust on my truck. (Just behind the cross-member on the driver's side.) It'd be nice if it wasn't there, but it's really nothing I wouldn't expect to see on a seven year-old vehicle
